Balcony staterooms were designed for maximum sea breeze and the most stunning views, so look to a balcony if you're looking to cruise aboard Carnival Dream. Any time you're in your room, you're just steps away from your own personal outdoor oasis, featuring the sort of sea view you can also feel. Passes are sold for the length of the cruise only, and are priced per person or per couple.
Fellow Passengers
Some have a sofa and/or upper beds (Pullman) for 3rd/4th person. Spa Oceanview rooms are with obstructed views, and some are with upper bed (Pullman) for 4th person. Cloud 9 Spa staff are masters (or, maybe more like artists) trained in the craft of simply helping you chill.
Carnival Dream Activities
The adults-only Serenity retreat offers lots of sun deck space on Decks 14 and 15, forward. Here you'll find blue loungers, wicker clam shells, armchairs and beds, plus hammocks sized for two. The Serenity space is always open, but you'll only find crew there from 11 a.m. There are virtually no outdoor areas on Carnival Dream that aren't also used as sun deck space. You'll find blue lounge chairs on Decks 10, 11 and 12, near both pools and along the port (left) and starboard (right) sides of the ship.
Night Eastern Caribbean CruiseDetails
By default, if you make no selections on the card, your room service steward will service the accommodation twice daily. We designed Carnival Dream Balcony staterooms for maximum sea breeze and the most stunning views, and this stateroom features a balcony that's even wider than our standard balcony. Enjoy the extra outdoor space, along with all the standard Carnival stateroom amenities. The ocean view staterooms boast much of the same decor and aesthetic that you’ll find in the interior staterooms, as do the balcony staterooms. Ocean view staterooms, of course, offer more room, floor space and bigger windows.

Carnival Dream was at the forefront of a recent wave of amazingly innovative and fun Carnival ships. As the genesis of the Dream class, Carnival Dream set the direction for the ships that followed in her footsteps — first Carnival Magic and then Carnival Breeze. Parents (or pre-assigned guardians) must sign kids ages 2 through 8 in and out. Kids 9 and older can sign themselves in and out, except after 10 p.m., during Night Owls babysitting hours.
Its special rum-based cocktails are available by the glass (including a souvenir glass option) or pitcher, and among them mojitos, frozen daiquiris and original creations too. Tweens (ages 12 to 14) and Teens (ages 15 to 17) also get their own hangout spaces on Deck 4. With a mostly open-space design, you'll find gaming stations, a foosball table and dance floor in both Circle C and Club O2. Every day, there’s something new and there are no reservations required, so you can enjoy whatever feels right, in the moment. From taking a dance class to playing some bingo, watching a cooking demo or playing a game in the pool, you never know what awaits.

It's a smaller pool, and you won't find live music or games played here, so it's a quieter place to lounge in the sun. On the flip side, it's more intimate feel tends to draw a large crowd, so don't expect to feel worlds away. There’s a main pool that can get quite busy, but then also an adults-only pool that’s a little more on the quiet side. However, the ship has received multiple refurbishments since, including in 2012, 2017 and 2021. These refurbishments brought new restaurants and entertainment spaces to the ship.

Featuring a standard-size balcony, in a Carnival Dream Junior Suite you'll find everything else there is to love about a suite, including VIP check-in, a walk-in closet; and even a whirlpool tub for relaxing. Enjoy conversation and your favorite drink with friends at various fun lounges and watering holes, such as the popular RedFrog Rum Bar, where you can try Carnival's very own ThristyFrog Red Beer. Other chic venues include the always popular BlueIguana Tequila Bar and Sam's Piano Bar where you can hear your favorite tunes. Dance at the popular Liquid Nightclub and watch a show at Ovation, the main lounge. You will be dancing in your seat at Playlist Productions and watch a movie outdoors at the huge screen at the Carnival Seaside Theater.
The ocean suite gives you plenteous ocean views, while the junior suite gives you a smaller space, but still all the VIP services that suite guests enjoy during a Carnival Dream cruise. The Premium Vista balcony stateroom features a balcony that wraps around the ship’s corner, for more views from every angle. For dinner, savor every morsel with the expansive dining room menu. For an even finer dining experience, take your date to the specialty steakhouse, (a nominal fee is charged.) Here you’ll enjoy mouthwatering gourmet cuisine.
